Starry stars (Vega and eps Lyrae with f=135mm)

When stopped down a little, all lenses show a diffraction pattern (sun star) around bright stars. For some lenses the pattern is ugly, for other it can have an artistically pleasing effect. Shown below is a shot of Vega and eps10/20 Lyrae with a 135mm f2.8 Oshiro stopped down to f/4. Its nine straight aperture blades produce one of the cleanest 18 star diffraction patterns of lenses of comparable focal lengths  in my collection.

Oshiro 135mm f/2.8 at f/4. 900x1400 crop from 3000x4000 D7200  10x30 seconds registered with Sequator.

Try it on the is field and see what your lens produces when stopped down a little. If you like the result (or not) please share.
