My experience with one large wall mounted TV monitor at a Photo exhibition-

I created a video mp4 (slideshow) of images on a USB stick that simply plugged into the TVs USB socket and it played really well.

In a 'slideshow' you could set a time interval (and maybe 'Loop' to cycle the images- Not certain about this!).

Some smart TVs can also show a folder of JPG images as a slideshow. Much will depend on the Monitors you use.

A slideshow could be made also to display an image Title & Description, etc.
