because, in general, when looking through the OVF, you do not get the benefit of an optically stabilized image

May be in case of some long focal lenght?

But, anyway, a DSLR camera with OVF and also equipped with a vibration reduction, wouldn't it be an advantage in order to stabilize the picture, even if not the viewfinder?

In this way you would avoid the (micro) motion blur and it could be possible shooting with longer shutter speed freehand.

This is why I wonder why so few DSLR OVF cameras with a vibration reduction system.
