I wouldn't know anything about your birds, I'm only familiar with british birds.

Jethro, following birding pages I often see post of British buzzards, they look very much like a North American Red tailed hawk. The first time I seen one posted as a buzzard I didnt realize it was from Britain and I quickly commented it wasnt  a buzzard it was a hawk thinking it was a new birder and I wanted to help them with correct ID. Talk about embarrassed when I found out they were from Britain and had been birding almost as long as I have been alive. At least they were nice about it . Lol
