Unfortunately I couldn't find anything in the R7 manual indicating whether V60 is good enough for all video and burst modes. I feel like V90 would be overkill and too expensive to not fully utilize. Does anyone know whether V60 is sufficient?

Yes, Rudy Winston stated this in a launch video. I'll see if I can find a link.

Edit: found it: https://youtu.be/jnh5gAcdVNk?t=4280

Thanks. I hadn't seen that video before. Nice to hear straight from the horse's mouth (no offense to Rudy Winston's mouth).

See the card performance requirements in the specifications section of manual. https://cam.start.canon/en/C005/manual/html/UG-10_Reference_0100.html

V60 is only needed for the highest bitrate option (4k 60p IPB standard 10 bit). It's more than enough for everything else

Awesome! Page 940 in the PDF manual. No wonder I didn't find it. It's a relief because I just ordered a Lexar 128 GB v60 card a couple hours ago. Hoping it will arrive before I pick my R7 up next Thursday!
