Anything wrong with this logic?
1

I have an RP, an RF 600mm, and an RF 100-400 (and lots of EF lens and other outdated Canon ILCs). I don’t have any particular use in mind for the long lenses. I just want to have them in case something pretty walks into view.

I was about to buy an RF 1.4 extender, when I thought, save the $500 on the extender and use it to buy an R7 or an R10. They function, do they not, effectively, as a 1.6 extender for the two RF lens and for all the adaptable EF lenses?
