Re: What is the best workflow for amateur usage?

Thanks for the replies casus and erhan0.

I prefer to use Pixelmator Photo to Lightroom. I have done very nice presets and It is a software that I like much. I use Apple Photos as my photos repository (mixing different photo sources from different phones, family albums, other cameras...). I do not want to have a separate repository of photos in Adobe Cloud.

I have seen the option to save the CR3 in the iPhone, but this would give me lot of work to convert EVERY photo I take, after converting remove etc. I only want the raw for some specific photos, maybe 1 or 2 in a session or 200 photos.

My workflow is simpler, download to iPhone. Is automatically saved in the Photos app and I forget about the photo. If I have time, after that I can process some photo or if I like a photo very much and need to recover some light go to the sd card for the Raw. But this processing is optional. I want to download and that's all.

For me was perfect the option of shooting raw and automatically converting to jpg with canonconnect and real resolution in the moment of downloading the photos, but seems not to be possible.

Anyone has a simpler workflow (not using lightroom :-))?
