I own a number of both digital and film cameras, but the only two that I have 2 copies of are the Konica Minolta A2 and Minolta a9; just in case one goes bad. Hasn't happened yet thankfully. I shoot the A2 using the 3624x2448/extra fine settings and am continually amazed at the picture quality. I can see why in 1985 if you wanted a new one, it would set you back $1000,

The only person who could get one in 1985 was Marty McFly

It's a professional quality bridge camera. Here's a few pics I've taken this spring for our Pennsylvania Native Plant Society discussion group. All these are SOOC(no editing).

Fragrant water lily

Flowering Raspberry

Penstemon digitalis

Carnivorous Sundew plants with trapped bug.

Carnivorous Sundew plants.

I am still tempted to buy one after all of these years. Finding the right CF cards seems like a hassle, though.

Yeah, you're right about the date, 2004 makes more sense. As far as CF cards go, I use thr Vida IT 16 GB card that I ordered online.
