Where is the successor to the original EOS R?

Sounds a lot like the R5? There's no way they would add all that to an R mkII at it's current price point (if they even make one).

The current resolution is quite good already... really it's the AF system/tracking that is lacklustre now when you compare to every other R-body aside from the RP. And I find the electronic shutter not very consistent with its results in terms of reliably producing artifact-free images. These are the top two improvements I would look for.

Of course, most people seem to think no successor will be coming, which I find unfortunate, because I don't really find anything in the current lineup a logical replacement without a SIGNIFICANT increase in one's budget.
