Re: What do you plan to do with you M gear?

I really like the form factor of my M6 mkII; it's like the idealized version of my old PowerShot G10 I always wanted (except that it doesn't have stitch assist ). I find fully articulated screens somewhat awkward, while the tilt screen lets me hold it like a Hasselblad, which I find much more stable than holding the camera up to my face.
It's my choice for travel and leisure/casual stuff. As long as the camera functions (fingers crossed) there'll be a good pool of EF lenses out there.
I actually got an RP before the M6 mkII. There's not that much difference in size, but the RP has an articulated screen. I wish they put the power switch in the same location on both, though. I didn't get any RF lenses for a long time because they were all big and heavy and expensive and back-ordered. My mediocre old EF 28-135mm saw a lot of use. When I got the M6 mkII, it was more lucky: it got the EFS 17-55mm f/2.8 USM I had for my 80D. That's the tail wagging the dog, though, so I got a EFM 15-45mm off eBay, which is not great but not terrible, and is fine as a walk-around lens. Some other EFM and EFS lenses round out the kit.
I recently got an R5, which is on a different level, to be sure. I even bit the bullet, and got some fast RF-L glass. I have a couple of projects in mind for it this summer, which is not far away. I hope I don't struggle to find a use for it after that .
If I could no longer use the M6, I would be interested in what Canon might have in the way of small RF mount cameras — with an M6 form factor. I'm hoping that won't be for a long time. For now, I find the two small, lightweight cameras for everyday type stuff, and a "big" camera for "serious" stuff is working out well for me, although it is getting a little expensive.
And they can all use EF lenses. Did I mention that
