Maybe the RP2?

If you want a FF, 30+ Mpix, no IBIS, x0D build level, priced lower than R6, then forget about it.

The original R was meant to be a demo to showcase Canon's new RF mount and especially the insanely fast 28-70 F2, 50 & 85 F1.2 lens. Its purpose is to stop users from switching to Sony. With a recycled sensor from the 5Dmk4, it got to the market fast enough. It bought Canon time to develop the R5 & R6 with IBIS & a new DigicX processor chip for fast readout. It did its job. There is no need for Canon to do this again.

After releasing the crop body R7 & R10, there may be a RP replacement as the bottom FF. So, you can get the more expensive but less MPixel R6, or wait for an RP replacement which may or may not come.

Honestly, there wasn't a whole lot of real difference between R and RP.  So if the RP replacement hits with a modern sensor and IBIS, that's probably as good an EOS R replacement for most people like me.  I don't shoot action and I think I've used burst shutter mode like 5 times in 10 years.    Have no interest in tracking the eyes on flying squirrels at 100 meters or taking 30fps bursts of rhythm gymnasts.  Just want a solid travel, portrait, architecture, studio, macro camera.
