Pressing in on the front command dial should switch it from F (aperture) to ISO.
I can't find a way to display date, but histogram and other settings can be enabled under Menu > Wrench > Screen Setup > Disp. Custom Settings and then just enable what you need/want.
No, it switches to exposure compensation. My SS is on back dial, F is on my lens, and only ISO is at place where its hard to reach and change.
Yes, you can control ISO with the front dial. Button/Dial Settings > ISO DIAL (A) set to COMMAND. See response below
ISO DIAL (A) is for the ISO auto settings, not for setting ISO specific values. Unless I am missing something here.
Dan
In COMMAND mode you can scroll through the entire ISO range as well as the three Auto-ISO presets with the front dial. This isn't available on the older cameras (or the X-T20, but it is with the X-T2. The newest cameras do the same thing with a "C" on the ISO dial.
Worked. But my İSO dial must be at auto. Doesn't work when my iso dial is at L or H. Thanks for the help.
Yes, hence the Auto ISO (A) setting. As with the other dials setting them anywhere other than A, T, or C will override control elsewhere or auto control by the camera. I generally prefer to control my cameras in semi-auto mode that I can instantly override by simply setting a fixed value with one of the top dials. T mode on the SS dial is great for manual control with the rear dial. I don’t really recommend using L or H as there isn’t really any good reason to.
My old XT-100 was very basic camera compared to XT-2. I always use my all settings manual, shutter fixed at 125, and most of the time I only change my F from lens and iso from top dial at XT-100. XT-2 seems more compact and advanced. But easier to control. Thanks for the help.
