How about $299 Fuji X-Pro 30 extremely affordable camera with below spec 😛

Absolutely not happening. No earnings/no margins, whole market is going higher priced/markup. Volume is drying up.

Canon Interview: EOS M accounts for 30% of Canon’s sales.

$599 Canon EOS M50 II are top 1 camera selling in Japan. M50 Mark I get top 2 because not enough stock for M50 Mark II?

Not sure what that has to do with Fuji. I am aware of Canon's market there, but then they are starting to release new lenses in their new mirrorless FF mount.

Seems like Canon will keep the M line around for awhile but not really develop it further.

IMO there has huge market for affordable APS-C. Similar to Olympus, many consumer may move to FF if APS-C price too high.

Well Canon has been pricing it more aggressively. They would need to make some small fast primes though but the two zooms are interesting.

Sony may release more lightweight FF (e.g. Sony a7c) and lightweight FF prime lens.

True too.
