Hoping For Rain

This past Sunday I was hoping for rain at the Rose Garden. If it was going to rain, it wasn't expected to be much as we had lots of clear skies too. I was hoping for rain, so I could take pictures of the roses with raindrops.

Photo No. 1 - I also wanted to see if I was too late for the Rhododendron wall.

Photo No. 2 - Well I was, as you can see the white flowers already had been dropping off on the right side.  So I didn't spend much time here.

Photo No. 3 - I was looking for roses, but there was not a lot of them. At least there was some sun.

Photo No. 4 - Here's one overview of the area.  As you can see, there's very few roses to be found.  I think it might be because we've had such cool weather this May.  The clouds came in.

Photo No. 5 - But I did find a few roses.

Photo No. 6 - And here's another one.  Sometimes we had a little sun.

Photo No. 7 - All of a sudden these people were walking towards some shelter.  It started to rain.  I was excited for that, but I don't think everyone shared in that sentiment.

Photo No. 8 - They walked quickly to get out of the rain.  I was out looking for roses under an umbrella.

Photo No. 9 - They were able to hide from the storm here.

Photo No. 10 - And here's another view.  The question is, did I find enough roses with raindrops?
