How is your OM1 set up?

Having had the OM1 for a couple of weeks and having satisfied myself that singl point CAF works perfectly and that bird subject detection gives my D500 /500 PF a run for its money I have now thought as a wildlife hobbyist photographer, how do I want to set up the OM1 to make the most of its amazing features for what I shoot.

I decided that because birds are my main interest that it should be geared for east access to static birds and birds in flight. I love insects too and would use the HHFS much more now it is faster.  I also reckon that HHRS would be useful for torpid insects and still birds.

So my initial set up is…

Manual mode S1/500 Af4 Auto iso on 1/80/iso12800 so the EC adjusts brightness.

Drive mode 10fps low silent  sequential, 10 frames per burst

AFOn focussing shutter release (so far working well) Single point.

Joystick default

Front upper function to toggle bird AF on and off. Default off.

AEL button to toggle hand held focus stacking.

Video button to toggle hand held high res

Front lower function  to activate C1

Lens function button to AFON also

All saved to C4

C1 is as C4 but bird detection is on by default and focus point is small box and shutter speed is 1/1250s  May change drive mode to SH2 10 frame burst.

I think that will work for me and it leaves PAS mode and C2-3 available for other things.

I would be interesting to know how others have customised their OM1 for their use cases.
