Bonkers pricing for X-H2s in Australia

Of course this camera for me was a no-go-zone with that ridiculous flip-around screen. However, as an exercise, I just jumped on my camera suppliers' website, and nearly had a heart attack. Remember when the X-H1 came out 3 odd years ago, I bought two of them. It was kind of a take-your-breath-away moment, because they were then $2,500 Australian dollars each. However, that was slightly doable, as they were described as Fuji's new, all wiz bang 'professional' camera. Of course time would reveal that the AF was no better than my X-T2 and the camera was a bit of a flop, I ended up selling them both.
Fast forward now to 2022 and the listed price for the new XH (body only), here in Australia is $4199*#%&*!! What on earth is Fuji thinking? Who on earth is going to pay that when you can now get a brand new FF Nikon (Z6ii) for just over 3K here in Auss. I'm not bashing Fuji because though I run two systems now - my X-T3 alongside the Nikon Z6ii FF - nothing could prise the X-T3 out of my hands - I actually prefer it for most things over my Nikon FF. I'm just saying that things have gotten truly ridiculous - that you have to now pay over 4K for a crop sensor body. Any of Fuji's decent lenses here in Auss are now around $1,500 - so we are looking at up around close to 6K here, for one crop-sensor camera and one lens. Anyway, I've had my rant - anybody else think this is too expensive? I think my brothers in Canada will be seeing similar prices (Canadian and Australian dollars are usually roughly the same).
