If you're happy with the uniqueness of the Canon ZOOM Digital Monocular, that's all that really matters; glad you're happy with it.

Sorry I just think it is 'WAY' overpriced for what is, and what it is not—NOT a zoom but only TWO "OPTICAL" (100 & 400 EFL) focal lengths, with small f/5.6 and f/6.3 max apertures. I see no advantages that the Canon ZOOM Digital Monocular over my ZS50 which has a 24 - 720mm EFL 'ZOOM' lens—and the Canon ZOOM Digital Monocular many disadvantages to the ZS50.

ZS50; 1600 ISO

ZS50 w/ iZoom; 1161mm EFL

... Here's very comprehensive review of this pocket sized superzoom. Images look quite good after post processing ....

I totally agree that it's expensive and for just a bit more, it's almost the same price as a Lumix TZ95.

What I like about it though it's it's small. Doesn't seem like it would bother people around me. There have been times I am shy to take my camera out and take the shot because I am shy of the people around me.

So far the only thing I feel comfortable shooting in more crowded places are with a smartphone.

Anyways thank you for your opinion, I am always looking for such opinions and weighing the pros and cons before purchasing.
