Hi all,

the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports has a couple of AF Function button just behind the zoom ring.

According to the user manual and what I found on the internet, these buttons should be remappable. This lens of course was made for the EF mount, but is it possible to remap these buttons on the EOS M50?

I've looked in the Custom Function settings menu but couldn't find any other remappable buttons than the on-body buttons. So I think I already know the answer, but perhaps I'm looking in the wrong spot?

I would assume that any remapping capabilities would require the Sigma dock and a computer.

Not according to the user manual of the lens:

But that doesn't necessarily mean that all Canon bodies support it. And it also doesn't mean that you can't use the Sigma Dock for it.
I guess there's only one way to find it out

Did you have the Sports lens mounted when looking in the menu?

Yes, it was mounted to the camera at the moment I looked
