I think that's correct. But you don't get the pre-buffer that way, which is the main reason (for me at least) to use the RAW burst mode.

Yes I know. But the reply was to erhan0 , because he said he is only using the e-shutter. So I thought maybe this was useful for him.

Thanks a lot. I will check this. I vaguely remember some trick like that but it was not too quick to implement. My previous M6 II's shutter lasted about 250,000-300,000 shots. I know it is stupid but I stopped using the mechanical shutter so that I can use this one for a long time.  When I shoot BIF (on rare occasions), I use the raw burst. I works well but painful to work with the CR3.
