AF-S better than AF-C in Low Light?
1

I always use AF-C mode of Auto Focusing. Few days back, I was in a very low light condition, such that the ISO had to be dropped below 10,000. I was shooting people with eye-detect on. I had problem auto focusing, as the camera kept on hunting, even after achieving focus at one point, and many my pics were out of focus.

Then I shifted to AF-S, and the camera achieved the focus quickly, and then, of course, didn't hunt. All my pics after that were in focus.

I was surprised, as the AF-S was my least used mode for people, and now, this mode was giving me best results in bad light. Ofcourse, the subjects were not moving.

Have anyone experienced this?
