And when you're on it already, please also give us selectable frame rate in e-shutter as well ๐
Adjustable e-shutter frame rates would be a very nice addition. Having only 30 fps available is like using a sledge hammer to pound in a finishing nail for many shooting situations.
Maybe the R7/10s have that setting? AFAIK the R3 has ist.
Are you saying that the R3 does have adjustable frame rates in e-shutter? If so, that would be a good sign that the R7 might as well. There's no way I would want to shoot at 30fps. If I get the R7, I already expect that I will rarely use the top mechanical rate of 15fps. For my shooting, even the 10 fps on my 7DII was often overkill (that camera allowed you to set any framerate you wanted, which was a very useful feature). I use 7fps more often than 14fps on my M6II for sports, except for the very fastest runners.
Really, 30fps without adjustment would be completely crazy.. The 20 from the R5 are already over the top most of the time.
I hope the rear dial on the R5/6 is extra robust, with all that scrolling needed ๐
Now I actually went back and double checked. And yes, apparently the R3 has 3 different e-shutter burst rates. Excerpt vom canon.com:
"The electronic shutter in the EOS R3 is as silent as youโd expect โ except this time it can shoot at an unbelievable 30 frames per second, with full AE and AF tracking and with any RF lens. For photographers who donโt need that kind of speed, 15fps and 3fps options are also available."
