Event Photography

Just a quickie.

I've been asked to do a couple of weeks of event photography - a mix of interviews, parties, plays, concerts, etc. - at which I'll need to put in a professional showing.

I have a GFX50S II, only recently acquired. Is it likely to be any good at all for such work or should I be looking at something like a Nikon D780/850 or Z6/7 or even a Fuji X-T4 + 24-70 and 70-200 type of lenses? Fastish turnaround will matter so I need something that will output good jpegs on a second card for quick despatch following by worked full-size jpegs or tiffs at a later date.

The last time I did this I used my former Olympus kit. Focus ability, size, speed and silent operation were tops but Olympus image quality and noise struggles noticeably once the ISO starts climbing which at events if is always going to.

TIA if anyone has experience in this field.
