Not my usual, a WF-C8690 arrives

Four colour durabrite pigment ink

I'm not testing it as an office printer (or copier or FAX) but looking to see just how much quality I can get out of the inkset and printer.

In particular I get a lot of people asking about printing greeting cards and other artwork.

I suspect the rear feed may be able to take stacked cards (fine art and photo papers). I've some cut sheet canvas as well

It also prints long, so I'll get some 13" roll paper for some pano shots

It's a high volume printer and may well be good for stacks of photo paper - maybe even double sided...

Above all it's a challenge to see what it can do from a quality POV and whether those inclined to dismiss such printers out of hand just need to actually try

Yes, it does mean I'll be making ICC printer profiles
