battery grip for R7?

This is the R7. There are literally no holes for any pins at all. Not gonna happen.

For reference, I looked at the Sony a9 grip. No pins. The battery compartment and the tripod screw are 2 points of contact, which if built well is enough to stop any rotation. They can also have slightly raised lip at the edges to further increase stability

Having said that, this is just a point about viability, not any indication of whether a grip is coming. The battery door not being easily removable is another hint that Canon may not have any plans for a grip
