Bugs, Flowers and Spiders
7

From another hike in the woods, this time with my 100mm macro, a keen eye will spot some bugs on flowers and leaves that aren't readily noticeable at first glance. We were out very early in the morning and the mosquitos were extremely hungry. The bug spray worked at stopping almost every mosquito from landing on me, so no bites but they sure buzzed me a lot making it hard to pause and take photos where you can actually concentrate on the photo and the settings. Also the ticks were out in force, all previous hikes we found zero to one tick on our dog, this time we pulled 9 ticks off of him! All the ticks were merely crawling on his fur and hadn't actually got down to the skin to bite, we use a natural spray on him that is 94% effective and he's on the usual medication from the vet that kills tick, fleas and all that stuff.

As per the usual for the last few years I can't post the photos in the thread properly from my website so please do have a look at the gallery link.

Do Enjoy!
