I have a strange question.

In the past on Panasonic cameras(micro fourthird) I noticed a huge meter would pop up on the bottom of both EVF and rear display when changing ISO/exposure comp. value, as seen below. Personally I find it completely unnecessary and irritating. I simply don't understand why this is needed especially for 'pro' cameras - changing shutter speed/aperture would only highlight those value in yellow (as seen on the second image). So my question is, is there is now an option on S1r and other full frame cameras to disable this feature?

You only get those if you use the top buttons.  I have EC assigned to back top button and ISO assigned to back control wheel (on GH6 & G9, and probably’S’ cameras).  No pop up.  Plus you will see zebras, which you don’t see using the buttons.
