Upgrading tracker

Having learned a lot from using my star adventurer I'm determined to upgrade my gear before fall/winter comes around.

Thus I've more or less decided to get the HEQ-5 Pro. Now I have on offer a Sky-Watcher 80ed with the HEQ-5 pack (- power source), presumably barely used but already five years old. Costs about the same as a new mount and battery pack.

I'd be taking a risk getting used gear outside of any warranty most likely but the prospect of a decent telescope as well is tempting. The original plan was to get the new mount + battery pack and use my current lenses for a while.

Can anyone share any photos or experiences using this scope for astrophotography? I've read that it is a great beginner level scope, but also that it's not very good. Conflicting advice so far then. I'm mostly shooting various Messier objects with my stock D800.

Ps: availability in my country is very limited, for mounts there's usually only Sky Watcher. As for scopes there's barely anything due to shipping/material issues.
