Artful sparrows

If common sparrows spread their wings they mutate to very artful creatures - as least that's how a camera can see them. Depending on the viewing angle their wings beat much faster than a shutter speed of 1/2000s can freeze - leading to interesting compositions.

So here a small selection of artful sparrows!

#1: Flying between green branches:

#2: Getting out of a maze of bare branches (composite image showing the same sparrow):

#3: Starting from a roof edge (composite of a single sparrow again):

#4: A gracefully landing sparrow - or is it a starting one?

#5: And finally some peaceful rest:

All taken at 1/2000s / f7.1 at varying ISOs, Oly 75-300@300mm (#4 @286mm), OM-D E-M1 II, cropped, composited and PP'ed to taste.
