I have an m50 22 and 32 primes, I am looking for a versatile telephoto lens for portraits to round up my 3 lens kit. (for now!)

I also happen to have the Canon EF-M adaptor,

Thanks in advance.

I have the latest Canon F1.8 50mm + adapter. I also thought, based on the forum, that I should get the Sigma. Based on my own experiences and what I read, is that if you shoot wider than f2.8 you should get the Sigma, so only if you like darkness or razor thin depth of field. From f2.8 on the Canon, which I had for sale for $100 (how can you beat that, is really good.

Since I don't do portraits where only noses or foreheads are in focus :-), for me the Canon worked very nicely. To each his own.

Yes, I also tend to like shooting portraits at medium apertures. (Not really a bokeh whore) lol.

If the eyes are in focus the rest doesn't really matter.
