Canon EF 16-35 f4L - what else to shoot with it?
1

Thank you all for contributing to my education and decision process.

I went from thinking that the

$2,399 Canon RF 15-35mm f2.8L is what I needed, to understanding that the

$1,699 Canon RF 14-35mm f4L is perfectly adequate, to believing that the

$1,199 Sigma 14-24mm f2.8 ART lens for Canon would be perfect, to acquiring a

$650 like new Canon EF 16-35 f4L from a local party and making a useful connection as a bonus, after passing on a

$400 Canon EF 17-40 f4L, which did not get any votes of confidence in the threads.

I got a preliminary schedule of architecture and interior shoots for the summer, and will be looking for ideas what else I can shoot with this lens. I am guessing not street or portraits. I already tried flower and no. I am guessing landscape and astrophotography.

If only I felt a twinge of excitement for these subjects. Maybe I don't get out much.
