Milky Way photography - LCD display problem
2

I tried to take some milky way photos using my Z7ii (latest firmware), Nikkor Z 14-30 lens at f/4, 20 seconds shutter. ISO 6400.

When I wanted to compose the frame and to focus to eh starts using the LCD screen, I only got "electric noise" instead of a picture of the sky.

Friends using the exact same setting with a Canon R6 camera and Sony Alpha 7iii had a beautiful view on their LCD screens.

Using the viewfinder was fine, but when the camera is on a tripod at night time it is much more convenient to use the camera's LCD screen.

I didn't find any settings in the menu to fix this problem.

Please advise!

Thanks

Nir
