It could be mechanical or electrical failure, but can you be sure that you are not moving the camera at the beginning or end of the exposure? The electronic shutter takes about 1/30 second for an exposure.

I cannot be certain. But these sample shots clearly show something else is wrong, at least in these sample shots, as part of the frame exhibits no motion blur. Others have surprisingly drastic motion blur at 1/80, 1/100 second, where other, slower shots, have very little. Seems to be an issue around these shutter speeds.
