I got my Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G today

I mainly take stills and not video.
I went for a walk and took some test shots.

The lens is light weight!
And compact.
I used only the zoom ring and that works fine.
It is perfect as a walk-around and travel lens!

It is an absolutely non-scientific test, randoms subjects and brick walls, just to check it out.

I use A7R III and all is jpg sooc.
(I normally use RAW only)

16mm@F4 has a little bit of softness at very corners and edges, but I dont think this is an issue and it is still much sharper than my Voigtlander 15mm stopped down!
24mm and 35mm is sharp edge to edge.

Its for sure a keeper!
It will go perfectly together with my 24-105mm F4 and a fast prime for travel.
