Really ? No print difference between JPG and TIFF ?

Sean Bagshaw's YouTube channel has an episode that purports to demonstrate no printing advantage for TIFF: "Do JPEGs Reduce Print Quality?" .

Really ?

I confess that when I've done some largish JPG prints (17x22), I am always surprised that they look pretty good. All my post-production work is RAW and ProPhoto RGB color space, and then I'll do my export into TIFF or JPG. I certainly have never seen artifacts or banding in any JPGs.

However, Sean never addresses color space in his video. I've gone down this rabbit hole, and there is a difference in print quality between ProPhoto RGB and sRGB. So, for my personal printing, I'm always using ProPhoto RGB TIFF.

Any other reasons to favor TIFF ? Or are you printing B/W and it doesn't matter.

Thanks for any insights !
