Thank you! I have moved on past the 17-40.

I am in a position to buy the 16-35 f4 locally for $650. I feel it will be a good pick up.

I think the EF 16-35 f4 is a great lens. $650 is great for a local pickup. I look forward to hearing your experiences with the lens.

I just received my RF 15-35 f2.8 today. I was able to get a like new copy, box and everything at a very good price. The weight is just about the same I had with the EF 16-35 with the adapter, the EF was just a little lighter, but longer. My main reason to get this lens was for Astrophotography. On another site, I have been talking and seeing the work several photographers have done with this lens. I wanted to add the flexibility of a fast wide zoom. I will still also have my Sigma when I need a faster lens.

I still think EF lenses have great value with the R5/R6 with an adapter.  I am also trying to simplify my kit.
