Congrats for these phantastic images. I am sure the couple will love them!

The Sigma 56 is a great lens, my favorite on the M system and you clearly demonstrate you know how to get the best out of it with great composition and a feeling for the right moment!

Thank you so much Sharif for the kind words. I have now bought a Canon M50 MkII which I will use, alongside my trusted M50 at the next wedding towards the end of June so can't wait to put my beloved Sigm 56/1.4 on the new camera..

The better eye tracking will be great, especially with that lens.

agree

I'd run the m32 f1.4 and m22 f2 on the m50 and the 56 glued to the m50 II

classic fovs (35, 50, 85)

in a light weight carry

and can get by without flash quite a bit

That is an excellent suggestion - I subscribe to the "glue" suggestion for the M50 MkII 😁Unfortunately I don't have the 32 or the Sigma 30/1.4, so in my case it will be:

M50 MkII: EF-M Sigma 56/1.4 (glued!!!!)

M50: Canon 22/f2 and when I want a focal length in between, Canon EF-M 15-45 (with flash) or even Sigma EF-S 18-50/ f2.8

The M50II tracks eyes being smaller in the frame. This could be a reason to use the 22mm with the M50II, and the 56mm on the M50 if your doing mostly head and shoulders shots with the 56mm.

OTOH: the 22mm might give enough DOF anyway to go by face detect only.

45 is more than enough, but 500.000 isn't
