It's all been said, but here's another post in support of:

a) Inexpensive and *very* good option - EF 16-35/4L IS. It's quite long with the adapter but that shouldn't be an issue, and optically it's just as good as the more expensive options when shooting at f/8+ - as you almost certainly will be for depth of field.

b) Investment for the future - RF 14-35/4L IS. Spiritual successor to the above, smaller, lighter, *wider*, closer focusing, Nano USM AF is better for video, more convenient (no adapter), but much more expensive.
