The issue is that if I want to save a 48bit uninverted negative with as much detail as possible, I can’t then produce a lower res JPEG as part of the same flow.

HOWEVER, Vuescan supports changing the source from the scanner to a file, and then when I load in the uninverted negative, it’s as if it’s being scanned anew and THEN I can tell it to make it positive, I can use it’s color profiles, and save a JPEG.

It’s nowhere near as smooth as the flow in Darktable but very doable.
