What would removing the CFA from a GFX camera accomplish?
3

There have been several discussions here about what would happen if the color filter array (CFA) were removed from a GFX camera. Some have posited an increase in sharpness.

I did a test just now with a GFX 50S and a Leica Q2 Monochrom that indicates to me that the differences in aliasing are far more important than any differences in sharpness.

If anyone has questions, I'll be happy to take them here.
