24-105 and 100-400 and you are set. It will be a busy weekend because it is the last weekend before you need reservations. If you leave the telephoto at home you will be disappointed. I guide in Yosemite and my 14-30 zoom is my least used lens. Bring zooms. The whole argument that primes are sharper is a moot point. I regularly shoot at f11 / f16. Hope this helps.

Well I'm one day down, it was busy, but not awful.

I ended up bringing all three zooms, and as you predicted, so far, I've barely used the 16-35. I already have a couple shots I like with the 100-400, so glad I toughed it out. There were so many climbers I almost wish I brought the 200-600 but its so hard to fit in my carry on bags.

In fact, while the 24-105 feels like a compromise sometimes, it's already clearly been the most used lens.

Since I'm on a tripod and shooting f8-f16 on most stuff, you are so right that the primes were moot.

I did try a few night shots, and maybe missed my primes, but even then long exposure made up for it.

Thanks!
