True. But with more pixels in the same small 1/2.3" sensor; the smaller the pixel surface area, the less lighting gathering ability, and more image noise. Along with long telephoto lenses with small max apertures that basically mean you need good daylight lighting to keep ISO settings low.

With the small apertures on the long-zoom bridge-type cameras will need high ISO's to have enough to prevent blurring due to animal movement and/ or camera movement.
