Black bands in photos under flouresant lights

I was taking pictures with my Canon R5 the other day and I found these black bands

the scene was in a basement with some natural light and two very bright fluorescent work lamps about 3 ft above the scene.
There were no visible shadows and other photos I took showed no dark bands.
I'm using electronic shutter mode.
I'm assuming this was due to the 60Hz bulb frequency and how the sensor is read out.
But any insights would be appreciated.
I just thought of the issue possibly being the electronic shutter mode as I posted this; does anyone know that using mechanical shutter would eliminate it?
Thanks for any info!

ANSWER:
Canon EOS R5
