Affordable little telephoto

I've bought this lens weeks ago to complement my EPL-6 with 14-42 kit lens. Since I have large amount of Pentax lenses and cameras, M4/3 is only my secondary small toy system and I don't plan to invest much in it. But this lens is surprisingly usable. I bought mine 2nd hand for equivalent of $75. Somebody already glued the plastic mount back to lens, probably after some accident. But everything works and image quality is ok. Autofocus is silent, rather fast and accurate (also depends on camera body). Lens is usable wide open and provides enough resolution for 16mpix sensor, but it shows some CA on contrast edges. Stopping to F6.3-8 at long end improves output. It is very light and portable. Downsides are of course mainly due to construction. Plastic bayonet is not what you want. Zooming is a bit stiff as it is extending whole barrel out. It has no lens hood, no water sealing. But for the 2nd hand price the result is very good.

Roughly comparable to all those low-end APS-C 55-200/4-5.6 lenses, but a bit smaller.

It will be nice to see a version of this lens with metal mount and supplied lens hood.
