Fuji will never absorb m4/3 so long as their IBIS remains so janky, their long lens selection is so barren and they continue to not employ computational photography features. I have yet to find anything that can easily and reliably replicate Live Composite on m4/3 and Panasonic L-mount cameras. No one outside of Olympus has LiveND, which has rendered ND filters null and void for me (incidentally, Olympus LiveND has more dynamic range and colour depth than Fuji APS-C and full frame). As to your assertions about matching full frame image quality with the X-Trans sensor...I'll just politely leave that alone.
If you say so, but let me say this final thing. In my period of reviewing everything and I mean everything, much like you, there has been one major change for xtrans, Dxo support.
If ever anything had such an impact on what can be achieved from xtrans its Dxo Pl5! I know how you are going to respond to this statement but it doesn't matter because if anything allowed aps-c to match and in some respects surpass FF its Dxo. m43 is basically sensor challenged from its odd shape in 2022 to its low resolution to its suspect dr to its very average color response there's nothing cool about m43 since 2016! Everything is in-camera fudging fron that crazy HR thing to the live nd.
Fuji have made some phenomenal strides forward in using the imx571 sensor, its easily one of if not the best sensors available right now, if only m43 had something as good ehh or even FF! If m43 was any good Id have it and use it, it isn't and I don't, and most FF mirrorless camera systems are equally dissapointing when everything is considered.
DxO works on full frame sensors too. You know that right?
Yes, of course I know this, its what enabled me to assess the a7iv against the X-T4/A-S10 sensor fairly.
As for m4/3 sensors, the GH6 has the same resolution as the Fuji X-Trans sensor and the quad stacked Bayer sensor in the OM-1 is the most advanced crop sensor available today--full stop. Aspect ratio is a wash: I prefer 4:3 over 3:2, so I lose resolution going APS-C or full frame.
Blah blah blah, seriously have you seen the iq from the GH6, as for the camera, lol, sure its good for video, lesson ends there as Panasonic have completely runaway from photography.
Also, the IMX571 has nothing to do with Fuji. It is a Sony sensor with an X-Trans filter array over it.
Its irrelevant its in every single Fuji sensor since X-T3, it's an absolute color machine, gives up nothing to any FF camera and is around 6 years and counting ahead of m43!
I'll leave you to your ignorance about m4/3 and full frame, as at this point it's abundantly clear you have no idea what you are talking about.
Sure, I'm completely ill-informed!
