Thanks guys for your detailed replies! This was roughly what I thought but having extra confirmation helped me to try it more confidently.

Yes, I dove with this housing many times before without any issue and it has a moisture detector so if I have had an issue, it would have biped. I have tried to suck the air with my lips on the second dive and it worked ^^ Good to know!

Meanwhile, fantasea emailed me back (I also contacted their customer service) and here is their reply if it can be useful to anyone in the future :

Thank You for writing to Fantasea.
You should be able to use your housing without vacuuming it.
We do suggest you take extra caution by checking it without a camera first, whether during a shallow dive or in a rinsing bucket.
Please also review your housing during the dive for any signs of leaking and if you encounter any alarming signs, ascend safely.
