Got my new tg-6 for a snorkeling trip coming up. I’m just curious about maintenance I know on the housing you have to lubricate the rubber o-rings but I do not have a housing, and this Made me think about the seals on the battery and hdmi doors should I lubricate these seals?

what does the manual suggest?   If you're not touching the HDMI doors often, that's less a concern.  But my general routine with larger housings is I clean and lubricate the main o-ring and the port  or battery door (strobe) o-rings at the start of the trip, and then likely not again for the trip.

Lubricant is a sticky attractant and people who overdo it every time they open the housing seem to be the ones that are getting floods.

The fresh water post dive soak is the important one for your TG.  Salt crystals can form when it dries out, and these tend to be at the buttons where corrosion can occur.  The quick rinse post dive, the longer soak at night.   You want to push all of the buttons midway thru.

Think about the housing, maybe.   The tiny battery door is much more vulnerable, hard to care for, than the big housing o-ring.
