I haven't find anything or anybody to help me disable that sensor.

Black electrical tape works well to disable the Eye (proximity) Sensor.

Translucent (Magic) tape OTOH will keep it triggered (permanently).

Nothing in the Menu that I know of.

There is this setting in my M50 menu:

On Crunch (yellow) menu 4, pick Display settings

On Display control, it is Auto. Change to Manual

On Manual display, pick Screen (LCD) or Viewfinder (EVF)

Screen means LCD will be turned on all the time

Viewfinder means EVF will be turned on all the time

No need for tape

I actually do have my M6ii set up for manual switching (no tape).  Thanks.

But keep in mind that the Eye (proximity) sensor is still active nevertheless and can keep the camera awake unintentionally if triggered. Folks ask about this on a regular basis, and the only solution is in fact tape.
