I agree, 400mm should work just fine for marter. For reference, my total integration was 3.5 hours under bortle 4 skies.

You catched it as well in your image! Judging by the crop, this must be a nice widefield image of the virgo cluster, did you include markarians chain as well?

This time I centered on NGC4649 and missed the Markarian chain.

I did a quick slice across the the SN and NGC4649. The SN as of 4/30/2022 22:00 PDST  is 2.5 times brighter than the nucleus!
