Thanks a lot, that's nice of you

Sorry for the delay, always busy around here

I really do love your comparisons Maoby. In a way, what you do is what keeps my interest in photography ever fresh.

I select digital cameras picking up sensors like they were film stocks, as in "today I want to go with a D200 CCD, today a D3X CMOS, now a Dalsa CCD, now a Foveon, etc" in the same way someone chooses Portra or Velvia, or Ektar, etc.

Whenever I have a shoot coming up, I try to select at least 3 cameras of very different sensor technologies for the day.

Your comparisons always fascinate me, because you've done it for far more camera flavours than anyone else.

For those who have a similar way of seeing digital images, those comparisons are always refreshing and awesome.

I still have a lot of cameras that I would like to compare, but unfortunately, my budget is not unlimited.

Here are just some of the cameras that I would like to acquire, for my comparisons.

Contax Digital N 2002

haha good luck on that one

Leica M8 2006

Mamiya ZD 22MP 2006

I have those 2 above. Both render in such a distinct way, a render you can't find anywhere else regardless of specs.

Both among my favorite ever.

Maybe someday.

For the moment I have to be satisfied with my 77 acquisitions.

Collection DSLR - ML 2022

AMAZING collection. You should have a You Tube channel, honestly!

Far too interesting content to not have one.

You really should!

Count me as subscriber on day 1

Best regards,

Marcio I think about sensors the same way. The output is akin to selecting different films. I do like to collect. Ebay allows some of these to be picked up for a song. I always look for mint copies.
