RF 16/2.8 a no-brainer?

Re: RF 16/2.8 a no-brainer?

Depends on what you mainly shoot.

For me the RF 16/2.8 STM is no brainer because it's my solution to be able to get compact motion timelapse setup. I can shoot motion timelapse with RP+16/2.8 on Zhiyun Crane M2 which has 720gr payload and it still can take my RP+16/2.8 combo comfortably.

I can manually correct the distortion & vignette to get wider than 16mm fov, or auto lens correction when I'm feeling lazy.

Don't expect too much on edge sharpness. Sunstar is good enough for me.
